December!!

December!!

It’s December!!
Christmas is coming!!

I need to start shopping. My brother and I decided to go together and get my parents a new computer, one so that they hopfully won’t need to call ands ask us to check their emails or how to open a document. One that is modern, and goes somewhat fast, but isn’t too loaded down with stuff. GUess who gets to go pick it out?
ME!! 😀

My brother, lord, I have no idea what to get my brother. He always gets everyone else such great gifts, that it makes it hard to get him one. For my birthday he got me a Sony Handheld. I have NO CLUE how to use it.

Ok, I know how to add addresses, and I know how to write the “To Do” list. That’s it. I spent an hour on my computer (desktop) tonight, trying to figure out how to use the desktop program so I can back up the info and do the Sync thing. Maybe add a game, and see if this handheld candoubl as an ebook reader (I would thinkit can ) But, uhmm yeah still No CLUE how to do anything!!!

What’s really frustrating about it all….I’m sure it’s simple, I just can’t figure it out. You know? It has to be simple. My Father has one, and he can do it, and he doesn’t even know how to save photo’s from an email. I should be able to figure it out, right? I’ve decided that for Christmas I want my brother to come over and set up my desktop and show me how to do it. 🙂

OK, that takes care of me…back to what to get him. He’s 38, single, Outdoorsy, mountain man, investigator and sharpshooter. He tends to buy what he wants and needs, so I’m thinking Gift Cards. Maybe One from Chapters, one from WalMart, one from MEC. I think that might be best. Is it too tacky to give gift cards?

Or uhmm Maybe you have some suggestions?

  1. um, well if I wasn’t married I would suggest ME for the present. He sounds yummy. Mountain man, investigator and sharpshooter, he’s my dream come true. Sounds like he may use a gift card to maybe like a sports and outdoors store. I don’t know if ya’ll have Academy stores where you are. That way he could pick out what he would like and use in his outdoor adventures. Gift cards aren’t tacky, they show that you thought of the person but didn’t want to buy something you knew nothing about and then have them wonder if it hurts your feelings to take it back and exchange it. :hehe:

Ok Eve~ We’re nto friends, we’re family. By that I mean. We’ love each othe, are always there fro each other, but we all live very eperate lives.

Cathryn~ I love that idea too. I spent a awhile on the MEC website looking atthe gear, but he works forthe goverment, and gets the best gear from them, so It’s a hard thing to buy for him. PLus, I just saw lot’s I wanted. :hehe:

Cehy~ Yumm Tower of cookies. UHmmm AM I on your list? 😛

Paula ~ Yay!! MEC is a Mountain Equipment Co-OP huge aoutdoors store. No Acadamy sotres, btu sounds similar.

I think you should have him find a sexy single friend to come over and set up your computer Sasha!

Present for him – does he have a favorite restaurant he likes to eat at, you could get a gift ctfe. for many of them, or some event he might like to attend. That’s what we do for our parents and grandparents who are now hard to buy for .

    I love gift cards too!

Oh, and I have to tell you, I read, and now what to get him… I read it as "HIM" as in you’ve got yourself some hottie stashed, and I almost read you the riot act. Geez, I need more sleep.
