“I’ve seen a maturity to the books which I have read by Ms. White. Lara and Karl are rich, three dimensional characters with feelings, concerns and desires. Karl is very realistic in his view of his sexual preferences. D/s relationships can come in many flavors, and in books, many times they can digress into caricatures. WICKED does not do that, and while it takes the sexual fantasy fairly seriously, it does so in a realistic and interesting way. I devoured this book in one sitting and enjoyed every minute of reading it.”
