I had a great time out dancing with the girls on Saturday night. Then on the walk home from the bar, graceful me had to go and twist my ankle. It doesn’t sound so bad though does it. But add to the fact that the ankle I twisted is one that I’ve twisted twice before, (Both times I had to use crutches) and this time it looks just as bad. Add the fact that I just booked a trip to Greece for two weeks…in two weeks, and I need to make some money before I go. But how do I make money? I’m a waitress. How can I work with an ankle that looks like an uncooked stuffed sausage? I can’t.

Day by day it’s getting a bit better though. Today I can hobble a bit as opposed to yesterday spent getting around my aprtment on my hands and knees.
However, I am still thinking I might need to go get an x ray as every time I step, hobble. . . there’s a little clicking noise that I’m not familar with. I’m hoping it’s not my bones crunching together. I’ll let you knwo more later…IF I go get xrays. lol

🙁 Ouch Sasha…son 2 rode his skate board up a curb awhile back, he went to emerge and had x-rays, the Dr prescribed an air brace. He could walk on it and go to work.

  2. Ouch!!! I HATE spraining my ankle, but they are so weak that I do it all the time.

That clicking noise? I’ve had it a couple of times when I’ve sprained my right ankle. Doc said it’s because when the ligament stretches too far, it causes the joint to work outside of its normal range of motion. So it goes out of normal range, and then back in…out, in, etc. The going back in causes the clicking noise sometimes.

But still, it’s better to be safe than sorry, so if it’s super painful, or you have a loss of sensation, it might be best to see the doctor! 😥
