Blogging and a giveaway

Becky W you are the winner of your choice from my backlist. You have one week to claim your prize. PLease contact me via the contact link.
When I stopped blogging a while ago, I also became a big slacker on visiting some of my favorits. I’m on Facebook, and on Twitter, and I enjoy them both as a way to keep in touch with readers and other writers, but nothing really compares to a good blog post. Reading a good post makes me feel like I’m connecting with the person who write it. I love the feeling that they’re sharing something with me, be it their knowledge, an experience, or simply something they like.
To me, good blog posts that make me feel like I’m getting a glimpse of someone, or someone’s life are ones like the first glimpse of Jordan’s hot new cover. Jill Shalvis is a fantastic blogger, always making me feel like I’m a freind, and not just a reader. Because I also love me some naughty fun, The Smutketeers group blog is a regular stop on my blog touring. I also visit Lynn Veihl’s PBW blog regularly and suggest you do too, but I also suggest you go read her guest post at Book Addicts.
Share the link for a favorite blog of yours with me in the comments, (and why it’s a fav) and be entered to win a free book from my backlist. (eBook, or print)
Winner will be announced tomorrow!

One of my favorite blogs is by author Ilona Andrews. Their posts are very interesting and entertaining to read, especially when it’s just something about family or daily life.

  2. Not entering the contest, but I love to visit The Daily Coyote for a daily photo of, well, a coyote. PBW gives me tons of food for thought, and her guest post at Book Addicts made me think about how unhappiness drives us to create something better.

I enjoy “Maryse’s Book Blog”. She writes interesting reviews and does a wonderful job of compiling the correct reading order of many author’s book series.
