6 Days until WICKED hits stores!!!
At this time last year I was in the middle of writing WICKED and now it’s about to hit bookstore shelves! I’m so very excited about this. I never set out to write connected stories, yet BOUND, Trouble and now WICKED all have one thing in common. Karl Dawson.
As a character in BOUND, he was what I call a “throwaway character”. When he came into the book, he was created to be a sexy stranger. Then he worked his way into the end of the story. Then when I was writing TROUBLE, I needed my hero to have a best friend, and Karl Dawson popped into my head. It worked perfectly and half way through writing TROUBLE I emailed my editor and asked if instead of writing the story I’d already sold her for my next book, I could write a new one – Karl’s story.
She agreed and WICKED was born.
And it’s almost in stores. When I was writing Karl’s story, I found it very engrossing. When I was done, I figured WICKED was my best work yet. I hope readers agree.

Readers are going to adore Karl and Lara – the two were meant to be together, even if it takes a while for them to realize it. Their story offers readers some of the most well-written emotion that I’ve ever read.
