SUCCESS

SUCCESS

In my office I have a photograph of a lone runner on an uphill stretch of highway. It’s titled SUCCESS, and the caption strikes a cord in me everytime I read it, so I thought I’d share.

It says; Success doesn’t come to you . . . you go to it.

Simple, and to the point.

  1. On a similar theme I’ve got a sticker on my pc reading "Determination: the race doesn’t always go to the fastest, but to those that keep running." 🙂 All best wishes for you and your writing in 2005, Sasha!

  2. Thanks Sasha! A good quote or proverb often makes me stop and think and I have them everywhere too. 😀 My Irish Grandmother used to collect them into a notebook, and I kept up that tradition. The determination sticker has kept me going through some rough times! 😉
