Choices

So right now, my next big decision concerns what I want to write. Yeah, I have a few more erotic stories to write, but I like to spread out too. Need to flex the mental muscles y’know?

But, I need help trying to decide what to write…
A) a thriller/suspense
B) a sci-fi
C) a paranormal

What do you think? I think it’s safe to say whatever I write will have a certain erotic flavor but, in branching out from straight erotic….what would YOU like to see from me?

Enter your vote in the comments section and be entered in a draw to win your choice of my Backlist. I’ll do the draw on Wednesday Morning.

    Hi Sasha,
I love your books. I think you would be good at writing thriller/suspense. That’s probably my fave sub-genre of erotica so i might be a little biased, lol. But i’m sure whatever you write will be cool. Because you’re so talented. Btw how’s Mystery been lately? She is so pretty.

    Hi Melanie!

Thank You so much! I have to say I do like to add a little suspence element to all my stories, so I feel a pull to that. But the idea of beintg able to create a world with all my own rules has it’s appeal too.

Mystery is doing well, and being wonderful company. We have a laser pointer that sends her into full hunter mode.

Paranormal would be awesome but that’s because i’m a para-whore. Kink was great BTW.

Can’t you write all three in one book? You’d make everyone happy that way.

Also, you’ve got a few more weeks, but don’t forget about my interview questions. And you’re not the author I mentioned on my blog I needed to bug about questions, just in case you’re wondering.

I am with May about combining genres. The only thing is combining all three would be tough. How about combining 2 genres and do a suspenseful paranormal.

When Sexy Devils Comes out late this year, the second half of it, DEVIL’s JEWEL is a paranormal suspense.

thriller/suspense. You could write another cop book. Loved The Cop.

I think you’d do a good Paranormal-Suspense. There could be sexy beasts who’ve got kink.

    Ooo. Go for the thriller!

  13. Maria Duncan on March 6, 2007 at 12:04 pm

I think a suspense/thriller ala Shannon McKenna would be great. There is a huge market opening for more of the books she writes.

I agree with the erotic suspense thriller, too.

Candace Havens says write down five ideas and see which is the loudest–I’m paraphrasing. funny I think I went through about five before I found one I really wanted to write. Any of them would be fun….

How’s that for diplomatic? LOL ok if I have to vote I’d say suspense/thriller or sci-fi
