That would the HOCKEY playoffs!
What can I say? I’m Canadian. I have an older brother. I grew up watching, and occasionally playing, hockey.
I’m not normally a huge hockey fan. I don’t sit in front of the t.v every week and watch my favorite team win, lose or tie. If I’m lucky enough to get tickets I’m thrilled to go, and I thoroughly enjoy it live and in person. NHL or juniors, doesn’t matter to me. I just love the energy of the crowd and the players. I’m pretty loud and I’m not shy about getting on my feet and whistling and cheering when I see a good play. For me, it’s all about the energy. . . the buzz.
And there’s nothing like the buzz at playoff time. Even watching the playoffs on T.V is exciting then. Why? Because I live in a city that has Hockey Fever and every pub has the games on, and crowds watching them. Once again it’s the energy of the people that make it exciting. And I swear, that our combined energies and concentration can help our team win! 😀
