While I find it very hard to write and listen to music at the same time, I always build a playlist for my iPod for each story/book I work on. I listen to these songs over and over while I clean house, workout, and run errands. These songs help me mentally plot my stories and get to know my characters better. They help me stay in the right state of mind for the stories. You might find them interesting as they are somewhat eclectic. LOL
