Sasha: I myself have some questions for you…
It’s an open fact on my website that I struggle with weight loss, and I admit to occasionally surfing your own website for inspiration and motivation to get my butt back in the gym, did you intent to be inspirational? The photos are, of course, inspiring on their own, but I find your talk about goal and commitment to be what really gets me. Do you even realize how motivational you can be?
Andrei: Since I started out as a fitness model my goal was in fact to inspire people to get in shape and stay healthy. It’s obviously very gratifying when people tell you they find your pictures inspiring and motivating.
Sasha: What sort of advice would you give me, an ex athlete who doesn’t want to “train” daily anymore, but who wants to still stay in shape.
Andrei: Working out three times a week came make a drastic change to your physical appearance. It’s also very important to maintain a healthy diet, which is low in fat and high in protein. I would try and workout using a combination of cardiovascular and weight exercises.
Sasha: How important is physical appearance to you? It’s obviously needed for your work, but do you think you’d still be as dedicated to your health if you weren’t a model?
Andrei: It’s hard to tell, but sometimes I really start to believe that our destiny is carved in stone. As a kid I always admired people who were in really good shape and to me that was very inspiring. I began working out when I was fifteen so it’s really become part of my life now. Would I still be as dedicated if I didn’t model? Probably!
Sasha: And if you couldn’t model anymore, what would you want to do?
Andrei: I would definitely a professional athlete of some sort. I find most sports interesting in their own way and I have to constantly have a challenge in my life.
Sasha: You’ve done many interviews, and answered tons of questions. I hate to be pedantic, so I asked around, to see what people really wanted to know about you…and these are the questions that fans are dieing for answers too. Okay, I’ll start out gentle…*wink*
What is a normal day for Andrei Claude on a day off, do you like to sleep in late?
Andrei: The night before my day off I would probably be out with friends, however I don’t normally stay out too late. I like to wake up early and enjoy the day rather than waste half of it asleep ! Most times I end up just relaxing on my days off. In the summer we normally hang out by the beach and just enjoy the sun.
Sasha: Devoted fans want to know what kind and what color are your bed sheets? Do they caress your naked skin, or do you cuddle with boxers or briefs?
Andrei: I don’t even know myself what color they are! I’m guessing plain white… Do they caress my naked skin? Most times.
Sasha: Will you be attending the Romantic Times Convention in Houston in 2007? I’ve no doubt you will always be a favorite among the readers and the authors.
Andrei: I really hope to be there. The romantic times convention is a really great event which seems to get better each year. Thank you, I really enjoy meeting all the readers, authors and publishers there. The atmosphere is great and the venues are always fantastic.
Sasha: Do you like to see yourself in photos or on covers? Can you look at your own photos and be objective, or are you overly critical because it is yourself?
Andrei: I really enjoy shooting covers. Playing the different characters is really interesting and great fun. Well there’s always room for improvement, that’s what I always say when I see my own pictures.
Sasha: What about blushing? Do you ever blush and/or get embarrassed, in person or because of a photo? What is your most embarrassing moment at work?
Andrei: Let’s just say it would take a lot for me to blush. I really don’t get embarrassed that easily. I honestly cannot remember any particular incident where I got embarrassed during work. I guess it’s because I try and avoid those situations.
Sasha: Do you model for a living or as a side job? And how much time/effort do you have to devote to maintaining your gorgeous physique?
Andrei: I enjoy modeling and that’s why I do it. The money is quite decent when you’re working for larger businesses, but I don’t depend on it right now.
Sasha: Would you ever consider posing nude?
Andrei: Not unless it’s a really artistic project and there’s appropriate obscuring.
Sasha: Do you read romance, or erotica?
Andrei: Unfortunately these days I don’t find time to read at all. Occasionally I read through an excerpt of some of the books I appear on, but that’s it.
