Secondly…How sad is that? I think it’s super sad that there is even a site out there called Online booty call. Now, don;t get me wrong here. I’ve tried the online dating thing. I’ve even gone about it the wrong way and taken a guy I met through an online dating thing home the first night I met him. My mistake. I thought our online conversations had helped me get to know him, and I’d really liked him. I had Kelsey say this in MY PREROGATIVE, and I believe it. Women like online dating because there’s less pressure on looks, and they think they can really get to know a person buy chatting with them. They can be themselves, adn find someone who likes them for who they are.

Men like online dating because they can be who they want to be online, instead of who they really are. Some married men say they’re single, some guys use photos from College. Many of them say they want a relationship, but really just want sex.

OKay, that was my experience.

The thing is, I’m not against casual sex. If people are safe, and honest about their intentions I say go nuts. Sex is part of life. It makes us feel good, all those endorphins rushing through our veins and letting us know we’re human. Sex is fun and pleasurable and healthy. But a social networking site dedicated to booty calls leaves a bad taste in my mouth. It’s not like running into a hot guy in the gym, grocery store, or even a bar, and feeling that zing of attraction that makes your insides quiver in desire. There’s no rush from flirting, no mating dance to warm you up and make you feel desired in return.

To me, the idea of it just seems lazy and tasteless. What do you think?

The first threesome I ever wrote was in the fourth story I ever wrote, a short story titled HANDLING AMANDA, that is in Black Lace’s Wicked Words 9. A MFM threesome that is complete fantasy style with the woman restrained, blindfolded and loving every minute of everything that happens to her. I mean come on who wouldn’t want to be the center of attention of two very hot well-endowed men? Even if it’s only a fantasy.

Strangely, that was the only one until recently. The next threesome I wrote was in my August 2007 release from Berkley, TROUBLE. And it too is MMF, and one of the heroin’s fantasies. The great thing about that scene is, the hero arranges it all because it’s her fantasy, and I think it’s a beautiful scene. I didn’t put the scene in there because they’d suddenly become the hot trend, but because the basis of Samair and Val’s relationship in the book is his offer to make all her fantasies come true.

I believe that like any sex scene in a story, threesomes need to be authentic to the character. Not everyone fantasizes about threesomes, so not all characters should.

WICKED was my third single title for Berkley, and once again, it had one threesome scene in it. In all honestly, when I was writing it, it didn’t matter to me how hot the trend of rthem was, even then I wasn’t sure readers would like it, because that particular story is very WICKED, and it wasn’t your typical scene…(if you can call threesomes typical in any way)…but it made sense and was very authentic to the characters, so it needed to be there.

The Handling Amanda scene was a raw sex fantasy with a bit of kink (beyond the threesome angle) and the one in TROUBLE was more like –I imagine – one would be in a romantic relationship. The one in WICKED was tense, emotional, and arousing. It had emotional connection, as well as the kink factor, and I loved writing it.

I got asked why I write threesomes in some of my stories…I write them because it’s fantasy of mine! And why not, I live a lot of fantasies and dreams through my characters.

So for today, I’m going to talk to you about something else – Fantasies, and the opportunity to live them out.

Have you ever wondered if you’d “go for it” if given the chance to live out a fantasy?

I’ve often wondered it for myself, then usually said “Yes!”. LOL My opportunites have always managed to come as a chance of luck type thing, which is why I generally go with it. Sort of a “it was meant to happen” type of train of thought.

A while ago some readers on WICEKED WRITERS loop started talking about why they enjoy reading BDSM, and if they would truly be interested in experiencing it. Then a day or two after that, I received an email from a guy who had visited my website, and invited me to see thiers. It was very intriguing. (and sort of no such thing as coincedence ??)

Personally, I think if a person doesn’t masturbate, they’re probably no good in bed. My belief is how can you find pleasure if you don’t know what pleases you? And the best way to find out is to well, experiment, with others and with yourself. But come one, isn’t self love a sort of naughty exciting thing?

Especially if you do it with a partner I know, self love with a partner? Then why do it yourself? Because it’s HOT. And if you doubt me, ask your man to stroke himself for you. Men aren’t shy, he’d do it for sure.
