I don’t think Ralph had social media in mind when he said this, but thats exactly what comes to my mind when I read this quote. It’s way too easy in this day and age to get wrapped up in do things or having things. Social Media has people thinking the surface of life is more important that the depth, or the richness of it by encouraging us to care more about the number of “friends”, followers, retweets, and likes than the content of what were are doing. A full life means living it by taking part, and not just narrating it with updates.
