The Zoo

Almost every night of our trip, Delilah and I would go back to our stateroom and find a gift from the room attendant. Nothing big, just an amusing and thoughtful touch that would make us smile. I took pictures. For a chance to win a Tshirt with a caribbean map on it from St.Thomas and a singed copy of PRIMAL MALE, tell me in the comments what animals you think the towel art it.

AND, for a chance to win even more, be sure to visit Delilah’s blog today, and see some more little touches that made the cruise great. She’s giving away some gifts too!-

Winners will be announced tomorrow!

It all started with this cute guy. (And yes, that is Nicole Peelers TEMPEST RISING you see on my bed. Great Book!)

Next came …

then…

This one is sort of hard to tell by the photo…but when we saw it in person we knew exactly what it was..

Here’s a side shot, in case you need help..

This one I never guessed right. Delilah did though…

When we walked into the room and saw this guy hanging from the wall we laughed like idiots. He was so cute!

Then on our last night, Soma (our stateroom attendant, gave us this)

So…what do you think they are? Tell me in the comments…and be sure to visit Delilah’s blog for another chance to win!

I can’t ID the one with the side shot, but the rest are a dog, a swan, an elephant, an aardvark, and a flower. I dunno what the mystery towel art is, a pig? But I love this, it makes me realize how fun and artistic we can make every part of life with a little imagination.

    Hi Sasha.

I’ll take a shot at them starting from the top.

A Beagle, A Swan, An Elephant, A Piggy, A Sloth, A Monkey and A Giant Flower.

Can’t wait to see what they really are :)

Wow, amazing, Sasha! Glad you two had such a blast, complete with towel art!!

I’m guessing, a dog/puppy, sea serpent or maybe a swan with an extra long body, elephant, pig, some sort of animal that sits? I would have guessed fox based on the ears but they don’t sit! A sloth??, monkey, and tropical flower.

I’m not very good at this.
    Dog, Swan, Elephant
    Monkey and Flower

I though the sitting one was an ardvark too, I was wrong. LOL I literally guessed wrong in front of Soma, the guy who was making them. BUt Delilah got it right, right off. I felt bad. Now I’m glad to see I’m not the only one who got it wrong. LOL

OK..I’m gonna take some guesses here but I’m seeing..in order:

A dog, a swan, an elephant, a pig, an octopus, an anteater, a monkey, a stingray (or flower).

Of course, by kids tell me my eyesight isn’t the best. I went on a cruise before and I loved the towel art. It is so cool.

Well, with the assistance of my hubby and daughter, who helpfully told me which Pokemon each figure was meant to be, here are our “guesses”.

The first figure appears to be a canine cutie (dog).
The second is either a gliding swan or a poised cobra (I know, odd family).
The third is an elephant sitting down on the job.
The fourth is a pig in repose.
The fifth was a debate, I went for bear, kiddo went for wolf.
The sixth is my hubby, I mean a monkey.
And the seventh looked like the stingray that got the Crocodile Hunter at first, but on second look appears to be a huge tropical flower, or a pinwheel if you are shivering here in the States and enjoying the towel and watermelon art!

    Thanks for the fun!

I think they represent a dog, swan, elephant, pig, lion, monkey and stingray.

Do you know how many times I attempt linen napkin art in restaurants? I don’t know why I won’t give up… They all end up looking like a cloud….
    Ok…
    1. Puppy / doggy
    2. I was going to say swan but it could also be a sea serpent
    3. At first, thought it was a lobster, but with that hold in the front, has to be a pig
    4. kangaroo
    5. monkey
    6. stingray
Oh boy! Can’t wait to hear the answers!
