I promised pictures of myself after I got my hair all chopped off, and I’m about to deliver.
Some of you saw the red streaks when I was in Houston, or if you’re on here regularly you know when I got them. Anyway, I kept the streaks and chopped off about 6 inches in length. They also thinned it out a bit. Now, with the way it is, I can wear it natural (curly), and it looks… okay. Or I straighten it. Which I like much better.
Here you go, a few pics a friend took. The first ones were while was writing, and uhm I wasn’t happy to be interupted.
I cropped them all so all you can see is my face and hair, no need to scare y’all with the saying on my t-shirt. *blush*

So what do you think of the new hair cut? LOL I love it for summer. So easy to deal with. Plus, I know how fast my hair grows…so I’m not worried. ![]()

I love it! Your new look is fabulous, Sasha… really sweet and cute and modern. That length just frames your face perfectly.
And I love those streaks!
by wendyportia June 11th, 2007 at 12:43 amwow! It loks FAB! I loved your hair as it was, so was sad to hear you’d changed it, but it looks greatl really suits you!
by Saskia June 11th, 2007 at 5:16 amSasha! It’s gorgeous. It suits you so much more than the long curls. I LOVE IT!
Now you can totally see your gorgeous face and smile.
by Vivi Anna June 11th, 2007 at 7:16 amIt’s so smokin’ that I’m going to take the plunge and cut mine off too.
I’ve been humming and haing over it…but you’ve convinced me, that short and sweet is totally HAWT!
by Vivi Anna June 11th, 2007 at 7:17 amYou look beautiful! I love it. And yes much easier for summer. And now you’ve inspired Vivi Anna! You both are gonna be smokin’ hot.
by Karen Erickson June 11th, 2007 at 8:12 amI love it! It will be great for the summer.
Now you have me wondering what your t-shirt says!
by Susan June 11th, 2007 at 8:57 amThanks Everyone!! I know I’ll miss the long curls in a few months, but right now I’m loving the short and straight thing. Last time my hair was this short, technology wasn’t what it is now, and the flat irons wouldn’t get hot enough to straighten my hair. (just turned me into a fuzzball) Now it takes about 15 minutes and It’s good for a couple days.
Go for it Vivi!! I know you’ll love it! Be sure to send me pictures so I can post them too!!
My t-shirt. I have many t-shirts that I used to get fro free when I worked inthebars, and some are pretty nice, some are pretty wild. LOL But almost all are super comfortable..just not suitable for publoic anymore.
by Sasha June 11th, 2007 at 9:46 amLook at you!! That straight hair gives you a totally different look! Everyone is right - it frames your face beautifully.

by Beth Williamson June 11th, 2007 at 10:03 amThen again, I don’t think you could ever not look beautiful.
P.S. I’m getting highlights in my hair next week for the first time in my life.
GO Beth!!!
We have to treat ourselves. Feeling good helps us look good.
by Sasha June 11th, 2007 at 10:09 amOh Sasha, the new cut frames your face beautifully - I love it! Of course, I love your curls too - my youngest daughter has a headful of those long curls - she doesn’t always appreciate them and uses the flat iron on them for that straight, silky look. Trouble with that is she can’t keep her hands off of it and it drives us crazy to see her petting herself all the time!
by Laurie June 11th, 2007 at 10:18 amLOL! I understand that. ON the few times I straightened my hair when it was long I would do that too. It’s because we’re just so not used to being able to run our fingers through our hair and not get them all tangled.
by Sasha June 11th, 2007 at 10:21 amLooks beautiful Sasha!
by danette June 11th, 2007 at 11:07 amI really like it. It looks very cute. :)

Keep writing furiously!!! I want to be your second set of eyes to check for typos, OK? PLEASE, PRETTY PLEASE……………..LOL!!!

by Debbie E June 11th, 2007 at 12:15 pmYou look great I like how it frames your face. It look like an easy style to take care of. Now your making me want to cut my hair short and I haven’t had it short in years.

I love the red streaks and the glasses too.

by Lacy Danes June 11th, 2007 at 1:19 pmLacy.
LOL Not many have seen me in the glasses. I only wear them when I’ve been on the computer for a long time, or am spending the day reading a book.

by Angie June 11th, 2007 at 3:23 pmBaby doll - you look FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!
And what a hottie you are in those glasses. Kind of like…the sexed up, brainy librarian who really is a stripper underneath :)
Is the t-shirt the one you were threatening to wear to Sturgis?
by Lorelei James June 11th, 2007 at 3:37 pmThanks Everyone.
No Lorelei, that one’s black. LOL
by Sasha June 11th, 2007 at 5:05 pmI have to agree with everyone else, Sash. Love your curls, but with this new look frames your faces and–without the distraction of those riotous locks–draws attention to how very pretty you are.

by Lillian Feisty June 11th, 2007 at 11:23 pmOh, Sasha, don’t say you love my hair *sniff*… ugh, as much as I want to keep it, I know it’s better to donate it. That’s what I’m doing it for
I plan on running the marathon in January, but, before that, I plan to cut my hair to donate.
by Ali June 12th, 2007 at 6:46 pmDonating it is awesome, Ali! I think that is fabulous!!
