Yes, you read that right. I have 144 pictures from RT. I’m currently uploading them and realizing how many other things I wish I had pictures of and didn’t get. Things like one of Vivi Anna and I doing out Bad Girls workshop. Or one of Jordan Summers. I was sure I took one of Jordan, in fact I know I did, but it wasn’t with my camera!

OKay, I’m gonna START to post some pictures for you all, but it will take time to get through them all..so let’s start with the night I arrived huh?It was Monday, and the conference hadn’t started yet, although some of us go early to hang out and meet up…so..take a peek at what we do before th conference and all the parties start.

Okay, this might look worse than it is. Really, I was just licking her. Not biting. It was an urge I couldn’t resist.

Yes, I know I showed you a pic yesterday….but I have more..so I thought I’d share.

Isn’t he truly fantasy material?

I went and saw his new movie Pathfinder a while ago. The first day it released actually. Anyway, the movie was pretty good. The story didn’t hold any real surprises, but it weas well made, and I love action movies. Especially action movies that have a bit of romance in them too.

It starts with Karl’s character, as a young boy, being found by a Native American woman in an abandoned Viking Ship crashed against the shore. Then skips to years later when he’s a man, and it becomes obvious he’s never been truly accepted by all of those he now considers his people. He’s told by the Elder that he can’t be a Brave until he’s conquered the demons of his past. (Which means he can’t be considered an acceptable suitor for the woman from the other village that he longs for.)

When the Vikings come to their shores again, and slaughter his parents and the village , he gets the chance to confront his path. THere’s nto a lot of dialogue inthis movie, but honestly, it wasn’t needed.

Do I think it will be a blockbuster? No. It’s not glitzy or glamorous enough. Do I think you should go see it? YES!!

TROUBLE will be releasing in August, and I am super excited. I know LUSH just came out, and I should concentrate on promoting that one, but Trouble is coming!!

Why am I so excited?

Well, Trouble is one of my Berkley books, which means it’s a bit edgier than my Aphrodisia’s. This one in particular is all about female sexual fantasies. Okay, not allabout them, but when the hero of the story tells the woman “I’ll make you a deal, if you tell me all of your fantasies, I’ll make them come true.” she’d have to be a complete idiot to turn him down.

The other reason I’m so excited?? Because KARL is in it. Yup, those of you who have read Bound might remember Karl. He;s the biker/Dom that Katie meets, and explores a little with. He’s the hero’s best friend in Trouble. (And for those of you who don’t know about my case of lust for Karl Urban, Karl is based on him. The Blond Eomer version from LOR, but with stubble, not beard. LOL )

Oh, and then Wicked will be out next January. Wicked is all Karl. *drool* Yes, I had a very good time writing his story.

It’s Wednesday, the first official day for RT, and I’m having a blast in Houston just meeting up with people and having a few drinks and chatting!!

Witchling is a book by Yasmine Galenorn, the first in the Sisters Of The Moon series and I can not wait for the next ones!!

In Witchling we meet all the players, but the story is told from the oldests sister, Camille’s point of view. She’s the wich of the three sister. One of the others is a Vamp, and the other is a shifter (not sayign to what..lol ) It’s basically a modern tale where the world knows abotu Wiches, Vamops, shifters and fey alike. The three sisters are part of the OtherWorld Security type agency, and this leads to all sorts of adventures.

None of this is hugely new to paranormal readers. However, what I loved, and what drew me in and will keep me reading is the characters, and the writing. It’s hard to explain, but I know when I ‘m reading an extremely well-written story when all the little things that make a character come to life are woven into the narrative and dialogue naturally. There wasn’t any point where I rolled my eyes and thought “As if!” It all just rolled off the character and into my mind smoothly, and I was engrossed in the story before I knew it.

I didn’t find it particularly erotic or sexy, but I loved every minute of it. There was action, humor, adventure, and when you get deeper into the story, some more yummy characters (Smoky!!) and hints of more to come.

If you enjoy your action with a little magic, I suggest you give Witchling a try.

If you’ve been following my blog, you know that my freinds who all seemed so eager to pose for me, have suddenly become shy. So I’ve been using my own picts for Half Nekkid Thursday. Whilel i do plan to take a lot of pictures at the conference, I thought it would be fun to see if any of YOU want to guest HNT on my blog?

Here’s the main guidelines you need to remember when submitting them to me… and rememebr *I* personally find it a great way to celebrate the beauty of us all…normal real people. So have fun with it.

~ In that North American, Puritanical way that most of my readers think, “Nekkid”, or its variations, somehow insinuates sex, or its variations. WRONG!! The purpose of “Half-Nekkid Thursday” is not to see sex acts! It is the celebration of exposure. Of your big toe. Of your breastbone. Of your knuckles. Of your uvula. Whatever. Of course, sex acts can qualify, so if you want to post those…..

~”Nekkid” is not the same as nude! Again, nude qualifies, but it is not a requirement!

~Pictures should be taken of you or by you. Don’t be going to some internet site and downloading “Half-Nekkid” pics. And don’t use Uncle Bob’s pictures from Spring Break ‘72, either. Let’s try to keep this fairly “real”.

~You don’t necessarily have to be the subject of the picture. By the same token, if you’re not, then the subject(s) should be known to you. No fair going to the beach and snapping pictures left and right. Yes, they might be “Half-Nekkid”, but they don’t follow the spirit of “Half-Nekkid Thursday”.

Lush’s sales are doing great, adn I want to Thank everyone who’s baught a copy. I truly appreciate it!

Last week I did a reading and book signing at Audrey’s books, a lovcal bookstore. The day before I’d asked for suugestions on scenes from Lush to read, and Chapter 16 was suggested, yet I read this chapter. I think I got the right one though…Right Danette?

I should probably put Mia to bed and leave. It would be the gentlemanly thing to do; after all, this was our first real date. Only I didn’t care if was our first or our fiftieth. I didn’t want to leave her.

After picking her up I went down the short hallway to the bedroom, and settled her on the middle of the bed. With slow gentle movements I removed her clothes, noticing again the butterfly tattoos. One on the outside curve of her breast, the other larger one on the inside curve of her hip. She was like those tattoos; hidden to everyone except those she chose to trust.

Sure you could see butterflies, but not many people got to touch one.

Touch … I resisted the urge to play with the jeweled silver ring hanging from one nipple and wondered, not for the first time, why only one nipple? Why hadn’t she pierced them both?

When she wore only her panties, the thought of leaving occurred again – maybe do the knight in shining armor thing – but then I thought of her waking up alone. After what she’d said, and meeting her family, I just couldn’t do it. She’d had a rough night, and I wanted to make sure tomorrow was a better day for her.

So, I stripped down and climbed into bed next to her. It’s not like I’ve never spent the night before, he reminded himself.

I reached out and placed a hand on her soft belly, and sighed when she curled into me automatically. The heaviness in my chest lifted and I knew I was a goner. For once in my life, a woman felt completely right in my arms.

I tightened my hold. She belonged there.
