What is it that makes a story stand out? We all want to know the secret, but the truth is…there is no secret. What makes one book stand out from the other, what makes one story memorable isn’t always the complicated plot or the unique characters. More times than not, it’s the author’s voice.
In this four week online workshop author Sasha White will help you discover and strengthen your personal voice and style, and show you the way to the magic behind the words.
That’s the blurb for the month long online workshop I’ll be teaching at Access Romance during the month of March.
This workshop is going to be a Blast!! Why? BEcause it’s me, and I’m not in the middle of a book, and I have time to PLAY…oh, and it’s a month long so participants can pick my brain all they want!!
The point of this post… Access ROmance and I are giving away a seat to one lucky winner. I tried to give it away before, but the winner didn;t claim her prize, so I’m trying again… If you’re a writer who thinks they’d enjoy this workshop…put your name inteh comments today, and come back on Sunday and See if You ‘re the Lucky winner!
This is a one day conest!!! So tell me if you want in right now!
WINNER!!! Karen Erickson Your name was the one drawn to win the free seat in my workshop…so email me By Monday Night, and I’ll tell you how to collect your prize!
ANyone who didn’t win, but is still interestd, regestration for the workshop is still open until after the workshop begins, so please, visit Access Romance and check it out.

Hope I win!
by May February 24th, 2007 at 6:40 amHey Sasha - if you’re looking for really good writers don’t pick me… my fiction writing sucks in the worst ways. Honest.
However, if you’re looking to throw a rope out to the idiot splashing in the shallows - that is totally me.
I love your books and the online class sounds fascinating.
by rhian February 24th, 2007 at 9:32 amOkay then. (I can’t believe I’m daring to throw my name in the hat.)
Oh…the very idea of style and writing voice makes me cringe. Mostly because I can’t help thinking if I *got* it, I’d be a lot closer to feeling more comfortable with my own writing.
by Amme February 24th, 2007 at 9:56 amRhian, The worskhop is geared toward writers of ALL levels. (I don’t actually pick the winner, lol it’s random, but..like I said, it’s open to all levels, so IF you don;t win, you might want to chek it out anyway!)
Amme Everyones got it. :) You just might not know it yet. :)
