BONES

Anyone watch BONES last night? Huh?

I have to admit, when that show started last year, I wasn’t a fan. I thinkit’s just cuz I loved Angel so damn much and had a hard time seeing David Boreanaz as anyone else. But the season went on, and I was hooked.

Last night was Great! I love the way he understands Temperance and pushes her out of her comfort zone. And the new boss lady and flirt thing going on…oh yeah. It’s going to be a great season!

I’m also waiting for the start of Studio 60 on the Sunset strip. It looks very promising.

  1. I love Bones! But, like you, I had a hard time getting into it at first because David is just…Angel. Plus, the first few episodes were awkward, the acting stiff. I think the actors and writers hadn’t gotten comfortable with the characters yet. But now, that’s no longer an issue. Just LOVE the show.

    And so want David Boreanaz…

  2. I David too. I can;t wait until they start to dig into his characters background more this season. Y’know, the whole military sniper thing.

    Jake, the secondary character from Gypsy Heart, whose story I’m writing in Sept, is an ex sniper too. I just know they’re going to use his background to make me fall even harder for him. (Booth that is since I already love Jake.)

  4. I love the addition of the new boss. She’s definitely going to shake things up in a good way. I also loved it when Booth got in her face and said that Bones wasn’t intimidated by her. Great stuff.

    I loved it.

    I also loved at the end when he was standing by sorta watching but not watching her at the graveside. Such a good guy.

    I’ve never seen Bones but I’m also waiting for Studio 60 on the Sunset strip I love Bradley Whitford and Timothy Busfield. I’ve been watching him since Thirtysomething. Anyway, I’m also waiting for an email from a guy I met online, he sent me 5 emails in two days, and now nothing. Do you think that’s weird? Have a great day

  7. I’m waiting for CSI: Vegas, premiers on Sept 21. the last three days have been cool too because I got to watch the premier of the Sopranos, and two more episodes. I love that f*&^ing show!!!

  8. BONES never really caught on with me (maybe because I loved ANGEL– we own the entire series on DVD). I’m looking forward to Grey’s Anatomy, House, Supernatural, CSI Las Vegas and…. :: Smallville *g*

    CSI I think will be good too. I watched Smallville before but I lsot track of what was going on and now have no clue.

    And Uhmm Yeah, I have the whole ANGEL DVD set too. LOL I rewatch them way to much…lol

  12. I never watched more than an episode or two of Buffy or Angel, so I didn’t have those identity issues about DB. And I can’t believe I like Bones. It’s not that great, but it has its moments of cleverness and compassion.

    Waiting for House and CSI:Vegas to come back on. And this had better be ER’s last season because I’m getting bored.

    On another note, I can’t see any of your icons or buttons anymore! I can see the sidebar and I can see the photos, but everything else is a little red X.

    And on yet another note — I read BOUND last night for the first time. Amazing. How can such a hot story be so sweet?

  14. Don’t watch much tv, but currently hooked on Firefly (watching the DVDs). Interested in seeing more about Jericho and Heroes (probably cheesy, but I have always been attracted to cheesy shows)

  15. I love Firefly, my friends made me watch all the episodes before I even went to go watch Serenity. And I also cannot wait for CSI, Grey’s Anatomy and a couple more, I wath way too much TV, I think thats going to change though since my new job requires for me to be up at 3 am, which means no more late TV watching, gonna miss TV

  18. Sela. Thats just it. BONES has great characters I think. ANd they’ve learned to play them off against each other with the banter and such. :)

    Beth ~ I agree, Hodge and Zach are awesome. I’m so glad the new boss too. I think she’ll defintiely be better than the guy they had last season.

    Kris, Jericho is intersting to me becasue of the name. LOL I love that name.
    Hero’s, I’m interested in…but will reserve judgement :)
