I don't know if this will help, but this is what I wrote: Sasha, I haven't had the joy yet to get The Petshani, but from what I read, thats already a winner. I too never read much Sci-Fi but enjoyed yours! Maybe its best to go with what's with you, starting with one to see if the story flows if not then the next one. But never cease to drop down notes from your thought you'll want to add in to the other books. I feel the joy that comes out of your books and know you want to tell them. I know I want to read more of the Petehani cuz I'm gonna want to read more after I'm done with it! So I think its either good to go with a stand alone story or finish through with a series you started, or your readers like me will bug you more! I had to run down to the supermarket today - to restock the catfood - and found the local fire brigade holding a bit a of 'do'. There was the exhibition of firemen rolling hoses (and no, not their hoses, LOL), the really hunky firefighter in charge of the farmyard animal playpen (where's a young niece or nephew when you need one!), the two guys taking 'tours' of the fire truck and so many other things. OMG, can you say drooling woman? Yes, that was me. But did I have the courage to go over there and intro myself? :?: Lucky for me, one of the guys remembered me from my 'research' for One Foot Forward and came and said hello to me. Honestly, where had all my courage gone? :unsure: And I'm with Beth, I don't see a problem hitting on a man in uniform afterwards!
