Moving Along

Moving Along

Life is moving along pretty fast. I can’t believe it’s the second week of MAY already!! Lord, Why didn’t time go this fast when I was young and in school?

I had lunch with my boss yesterday. She’s a friend as well as boss so it works out well. Especially since I only work one night a week now. LOL But it’s Friday nights, whihc I enjoy because I have regulars who love me. I went back to work on the 5th after a month off to finish LUSH for Kensington, and had many hugs and cries of “I missed you!”

I love feeling wanted.

So, before lunch I went to LA WEIGHTLOSS and wieghed in. It’ll be three weeks tomorrow and I’ve lost 6 pounds..so this is good, slow healthy weight loss. And I still haven’t been back to the gym! LOl I love it.

However, I will be going back to the gym soon, I did love wokingout, it just got so frustrating when I was workingout and not seeing any results. I’ll probably go back next week. I’m hoping by then my headaches will be gone. Not sure what’s up with these, but I had a knock-me-on-my-ass for two days Migrain over the weekend. It’s still lingering. I tell you, it’s because I cut Dr.Pepper out of my life. So I’m going to slowly ween him back in. *Yay!*

In other news…another ex is trying to get back inthe door. WHat is it with men that when I want more than sex, they say they’re not ready. Then I say okay Bye…and they leave, only to call and email and try to get back into my life 3 or 4 months later?? So far, I’ve yet to let one back in… I think if they don’t want more then..and it takes more than a few weeks to realize you miss me…it’s not really ME they miss.

So, that’s my catch-up post. Sorry I’ve been all abotu writing lately, I promise to try and have more of a life again in the future. Look out pool hall, here I come!! 😈

  1. Yayy on your weight loss! :jump: Usually when you start working out at the gym lifting weights you think you’re going nowhere ‘coz you even “gain” weight. The truth is that you’re losing weight, but you’re losing fat and gaining weigh mass. I went from 140 to 115 lbs. in 8 months lifting weights. Oh yes…and doing aerobics. Ugh!

  2. Yay on the weightloss! I’m right behind you there. 5 lbs in two weeks, but it’s coming off more slowly now. MUST exercise!

Glad you’re back at work, too. It sounds like you’re enjoying it.
