I was talking to a friend today, and she was saying how busy work is and how glad she’ll be for the weekend when she can sleep in, and I realized just how spoiled I am. I absolutely love sleeping in. I hate alarm clocks. BUT, I’m lucky because since I work nights, I can usually sleep in every day. :D
I don’t though. I tend to get up and write, or drag my butt to the gym. But still, if I choose to roll over and sleep all day, I can. And yes, I have done this on occasion. (yesterday)
Sleeping in is such a simple indulgence, but most of us love. Another, for me, is ordering pizza for delivery, or getting a pedicure.
What’s your favorite indulgence??
I love sleeping. :D I never realized that there are some people who don’t sleep well, until I met my dh. He calls me a power sleeper because I can sleep for so many hours. I now wish I could give him some of my ability to sleep. The poor guy is so tired. :(
As for other indulgences, I do love pedicures and massages.

I love great conversation, I got to indulge in one the other evening, very interesting older man who just needed to talk. Other indulgents are food, I love to eat, but don’t over indulge, my favorite pizza right now is a frozen one so no delivery boy hee hee. :hehe:

My toddler throws a fit and acts like his world is falling apart if I close the door when I go to the bathroom. Then he likes to come in and try to play with the toilet paper or the plunger. Sometimes I dream of just being able to peaceful urinate all by my lonesome.
Also, sleeping late would be at the top of my list. God I love sleep! Unfortunately my little guy is a bad sleeper, wakes me in the night and gets up at 6 or 6:30 in the morning.
I promise this isn’t a post to try to dissuade all the rest of ya’ll from having kids! lol!
