Sasha, you’re such an extremely talented writer that I never thought of you panicking - you’re great at what you do - don’t worry.
About friends - I know what you mean about the good ones that you only see once in a while - I have two friends like that that I haven’t seen in a couple of years. My brother died last week (hence the recording of programs like Supernatural that I’ll watch next week - thanks for the tip Jordan) and these two friends will be at the memorial tomorrow - no hesitancy, they’ll be right by my side. Those are the greatest friends to have.

Boy do I hear you.

I have one 11 yr. friend who was a RL friend. when I old her I published I didn't hear from her again. I've left messages. Nothing.

Others treat me differently too, but those are my RL friends also.

My Net friends have been nothing but suportive, and since we all write they understand why I'm not chatting with them all the time, and why I can disappear for days at a time.

The most wonderful thing to read on this post was that you hate the phone. I thought I was the only one. I HATE the phone. :crazy:

Honey we all get it and we are proud of you. Trust me none of us are offended or upset because you’re not around much. I htink it’s shaped up to be a busy fall for everyone, either with the writing or IRL.

Um, okay - do we have the same mother? :)

And I think people who aren’t in this business don’t get it - they think, you write a book and then you sell it, simple and easy. HA. They think of it more in terms of, ‘I went on a job interview and got it.’ My husband said it’s because most people don’t get to live their dream careers, so they wouldn’t know just how big this really is to you.

But we know! I’m so proud of you, hon. You’ll meet your deadlines and find a new balance, just the way you did before.
