Sasha, I think you’re doing precisely what you should be. I don’t know who your editor is, but a friend of mine sold to the new erotic line at Kensington and her characters are very raw and in your face.

I agree, write them as you see them. If you have to revise later then so be it ;)

I’m with the others - if they wanted something different they would have signed someone different! As for the character question - I don’t know, it really depends on the story … I know, gee Eve, THAT really helps.

Goody two-shoes are boring. My hero right now in the historical I’m working on is a mob boss, murderer, all around bad guy (but hot, of course) and feels no repentance for his behavior. And never will.
