Goals

I went to the gym this morning!! :hehe:
And while I was there I made an appointment to see one of their personal trainers tomorrow. The thing that caught my eye was this guy has a heavy Martial Arts background, and that’s what I want. I know I have the knowledge on how to lose weight and get back in shape, but I also know I tend to lose momentum and motivation after a couple of weeks because I find the gym boring.

I miss martail arts.

So, I talked to him and we’re going to come up with a plan. It’s expensive for a personal trainer, but one of the reasons I didn’t join a dojo when I moved here five years ago was because I couldn’t find a place I felt comfortable training. I admit it…I’ve been very spoiled when it comes to my martial arts training. I’ve always had top instructors, and I’ve been somehwhat of a teacher’s pet with them because I go into things so wholeheartedly. If I need to pay someone to give me the attention I want to get the results I want, then I’m willing to do that. It’s not so much that I can afford to toss money around, but it’s a choice, and I’ve decided my health is worth the investment. 😎

In other news…I have to write today…My newsletter is late going out, but I’m holding it back because every newsletter gets a special private excerpt or story, and this month…I’m going to send out an unedited excerpt of WILLING, my WIP. Of course, that means I have to write it first!:hehe: So, in the spirit of writign down my goals and sticking to them . . .my goal is to get the newsletter, WITH a special excerpt, out by tomorrow morning.:P
