I’ve been told…

that my life is exciting. I think it’s more weird than exciting.

How did this conversation start?? I was brainstorming with Sylvia on msn and another window popped up.

Before I go further I need to mention that my nickname is Gypsy, and my msn passport is listed as such. Not Sasha. Ok..so this message popped up… in another language…and me being me…I went with it. To take a look, and have a laugh, read on below.

9:30 a.m

and I am awake. Not only awake, but up and dressed and getting ready to go to work.
My eye’s are swollen and look like ‘2 pissholes in a snowbank’ as my Mom would say. Why? maybe because it’s been more than a year since I’ve worked a day shift! :crazy:
OK, I think I worked one a while ago. To help out, but that one I didn’t have to start until 11:30.

Time to go… I hope my brain functions during the day. :hehe:

Kids.

I don’t like them.

Ok. I know it’s not always fair to blame the kids for the way they run around a department store screaming and get in my way. Just like I know it’s the parents fault when they let their kids color on the walls in crayon at the restaurant.

The weirdest thing about my antipathy is…my Mom says I was such a brat when I was a kid that I should feel a kinship for them, not want to stomp on them.

Fire!

sffh4
You’re Element is Fire. You have a strong,
independant, fiery personality and you
obviously don’t let other’s push you around.
You like being in charge and don’t care what
other people think. In fact, you like to stand
out and be yourself. You’re probably shy when
people first meet you but your a ball of energy
that could explode at any given moment. You
like to laugh and whether you admit it or not,
you like to fight. You’re personality is
wild and untamable. You’re beauty is physically
fit and a little sexy and you have a very
pretty face.

What’s Your Element(girls)? (PICTURES)
brought to you by Quizilla

I’m still working on the being physically fit part…but the rest sounds pretty good! :P

Joke of the Day

A friend emailed me this and I just had to share. :hehe:

The inventor of the Harley Davidson Motorcycle Corporation, Arthur Davidson, died and went to heaven.
At the gates, St. Peter told Arthur, “Since  you’ve been such a good man and your motorcycles have changed the world, your  reward is, you can hang out with anyone you want in Heaven.”

Arthur thought about it for a minute and then said,”I want to hang out with God.”

St. Peter took Arthur to the Throne Room, and introduced him to God.

God recognized Arthur and commented, “Okay, so you were the one who invented motorcycles, eh?!”

Arthur said, “Ya, that’s me…”

God commented, “Well, what a big deal in inventing something that’s pretty unstable,makes noise and pollution, and can’t run  without a road?!”

Arthur was apparently embarrassed, but finally spoke, “Excuse me but aren’t you the inventor of woman???”

God said, “Ah, yes.”

“Well,” said Arthur, “professional to professional, you have some major design flaws in your invention.
1. There’s too much inconsistency in the front-end protrusion;
2. It chatters constantly at high speeds;
3. Most of the rear ends are too soft and wobble too much;
4. The intake is placed way too close to the exhaust;
5. And the maintenance costs are outrageous!! “

“Hmmmm, you may have some good points there,”  Replied God, “hold on.”

God went to his Celestial super-computer, typed in a few words and waited for the results. The computer printed out a slip of paper and God read it.

“Well, it may be true that my invention is flawed.” God said  to Arthur, “but according to these numbers, more men are riding my invention than yours.

A gift…

for me! :D

I bought myself a computer desk today. I’m hoping to get myself, and my space, a bit more organised! Next on my list of “must haves” is a Neo.

Bad Boys. Good Spies.

Unforgettable Lovers.

That’s the hook for Alison Kent’s new series for Brava. Lucky enough to have recieved an advance copy of The Shaunghnessey Accord, episode two of the series, I can feel justified in urging you all to check it out. Tripp and Glory’s story is full of action. All kinds of action! ;)

Alison has always been one to write strong, character driven stories and this is no different. However, with the SG-5 series she’s added plenty of intrigue, and a heavy dose of erotic heat that will keep you turning the pages late into the night. (This is where I admit, it hasn’t just been website updates that have kept me busy. ) I, for one, was up way too late last night so I could finish it!

The Bane Affair, the start of it all, will hit shelves in October so keep your eyes open for it. I am!

So. . .

They’ve started posting the finalists for Lori Foster’sBrava contest on her message board. The contest is designed to help suss out new Brava Authors for their popular anthologies. Every week two more entries will be posted and two more contestants will be happy to discover that they’ve made it to the finals.

I’ve only ever entered 2 writing contests, and didn’t final in either of them. If you’ve been reading this blog for a while then you know the main complaint has been my grammar.:crazy: So . . .to me, one of the best things about this contest, besides having the chance to bypass the slush pile on Kate Duffy’s desk, is the fact that we all get to read the final entries. It’ll be a great way to form my own opinion on if there is more than just my grammar holding me back in this genre. I love it!

Sunday

It’s a lazy Sunday afternoon. The sky is overcast and I’m going to curl up on the futon with a good book, a drink and some yummy junk food. Some days you just have to relax, and today is it for me. I am going to do absolutely nothing! :D
