I’ve decided to enter a couple of writing contests. Of course I’m targeting the ones that have a sexy or an erotic category. :P I’ve only entered one contest before, and haven’t received any results back yet, so I’m not sure it’s a good idea. Maybe I should see how I did in the first one before I start entering more.
Nah, why wait? I mean, I’ll never win if I don’t enter right? I’m not even sure winning is my goal here. To be honest, I don’t think I’d care if I win. My goal is to have an editor, or agent, like what they read and take an interest in me. Is it terribly cocky of me to say I know I can be a bestselling author if only I can get started?
Yes, it’s cocky. BUT, I need to believe this, or what’s the point in all of it?
The point is, believe you can do what you want to do, and you just might accomplish your dreams. But if you don’t believe. . . you’ll never achieve.
