But when we were engaged and before the girls started coming, we did go on dates. Although, I will admit, he never brought me flowers, no matter how much I said I wanted them, until the girls came. Up until then, he'd say something like "Here's the money, go buy them yourself." LOL My reply was always the same "I have the money silly, I want YOU to buy them for me..what's the point of my buying my own flowers?" ROFL But I will say this...he's gotten better about stuff like that. We'll be married 14 years in August and he's bought my flowers a few times "just because" and not because I nagged him into getting them for me. *G* Hubby works so many hours that when he is home, he’s sleeping. I am trying to think of the most romantic thing he had done for me...lol can't :hehe:. I do think that if you read romance you may be expecting to much, I have heard of some men that read romance, but then again there idea is different then ours. <br /> :D the second time I met hubby was at a Church Picnic, he looked great without a shirt... :hehe: now I am like put it back on!
