My legs trembled so violently I thought I was going to tumble down the stairs and make a total ass of myself.
Why were they trembling so much? I’d just finished a BODYPUMP class. After not really working out for almost 6 months, the hour of non-stop weight lifting to music had my muscles screaming for mercy. I like to think I’m pretty strong, years of martial arts, sporadic running, and lots of waitressing has built up my leg muscles pretty good. But after that class, I prayed as I went down the steps that I could make it to the change room before they gave out.
However, now I feel less guilty about the three peanut butter chocolate Easter eggs I ate this weekend.:P And I feel better able to focus on my writing. Which is a good thing because my current characters have been straining at the bit trying to get into bed with each other and I think today I just might let them.
All in all, a good way to start the week. ;)
:doze: first I thought we were getting a sample of your stories with the trembling legs :). I do some low impact work, stretches and crunches and I walk, just that little bit helps clear my mind.
I though about playing with the words Body PUMP….lol. But honestly, was too tired to think. lol I’ll give you a taste of the WIP soon though. :)
