That's why I'm SO glad I don't work in the service industry anymore. Ya know? I worked at Fazoli's, and MAN, customers there treat you like trash. They assume that you work at a fast food restaurant because you're an idiot or something.

Kinda amusing when you shock an Argentinian family by greeting them in Spanish--or someone realizes that you're telling them how much change they'll get before the cash register has time to calculate it!

I think that EVERYONE should be required to work in a service job for at least 1 year.

Anyhow, have you heard? I finalled in the Golden Heart! Pretty cool, huh???

That is Fantastic News . Congratulations Lydia!! I'm so happy for you! :D

As for the service industry..I don't usually let it get to me. People have a bad day and they take it ouut on whoever they can..usually their waitress/gas jockey/ store clerk. But man, when I"m having a bad day who do I get to take it out on!

 My characters....no sex for them...if I'm having a bad day..so are they! :hehe:

HA! That's one way to do it.

Is that why I'm so horrible to my characters? In The Duke's Bargain, the total is 2nd degree burns, broken ankle, and concussion. In In Love and War's rewrite, it's already a whole lot of bruises and scratches, a concussion, and a sliced hand, and I'm only 60 pages in...
